MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather can be expected in most parts of the country on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday.
According to Pagasa’s 4 p.m. weather bulletin, easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean are prevailing over the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas.
Article continues after this advertisement“The whole island will experience hot midday and afternoon with a chance of rain in the afternoon and evening due to localized thunderstorms,” said weather specialist Chenel Dominguez in Filipino.

Dominguez noted that high chances of rain can be expected in the eastern section of the country, particularly in Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol region brought by the easterlies.

Meanwhile, Palawan, the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will also experience fair weather.
