BANGKOK — Three people were shot dead Wednesday in rural northeastern Thailand with the suspect still at large, police said.
The incident in Nong Bua Lumphu province was related to “a personal issue”, local police chief Sumitr Nansathit told AFP.

“Three people died and we still haven’t caught the suspect,” he said.

Si Bun Rueang district, where the incident occurred, is around 40 kilometers away from Uthai Sawan, where a man killed 36 people in a shooting rampage at a nursery two years ago.
