MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake was felt in Itbayat in Batanes on Saturday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said that the tremor was located west of Itbayat in Batanes and occurred at 2:27 p.m.

Phivolcs is expecting no damage or aftershock after the quake.

Meanwhile, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Mabini town in Davao de Oro on Saturday morning.
